Pamela R. Trimmer is the Executive Director of Personal and Family Counseling Services, an OhioGuidestone organization. Pam has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kent State University, and a Master of Arts in Education, specifically Community Counseling from Malone College. She is a licensed social worker, professional clinical counselor, PCC supervisor, and licensed independent chemical dependency counselor and clinical supervisor. Since 1989, Pam has been a part of Personal and Family Counseling Services, working to assist and advocate for people in Tuscarawas County. Her duties have ranged from coordinating the assessment of service needs of persons referred for case management services to assisting with strategic planning regarding community and family needs. As Executive Director, Pam is responsible for the overall operations of the agency including: collaboration with partnership agencies, networking, identifying and developing new programming, grant writing.
Pam is involved with several organizations that strive to strengthen families. She received the OhioGuidestone CEO Award and, under her leadership, PFCS was named the Chamber of Commerce Agency of the Year. Pam is married to Matt and has two children. She enjoys walking the dog, spending time with her family, especially horse competitions with her daughter, and gardening at her home in New Philadelphia.
