Brandi Ankrom is the Community Base Treatment Coordinator and a Therapist at Personal and Family Counseling Services, an OhioGuidestone Organization. Brandi has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Social Work through the University of Akron, and a Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas Arlington. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation. Brandi supervises the home base, school base, case management and PROTECT programs in addition to seeing children for outpatient therapy. She has expanded her knowledge through trainings for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention and using sandtray-worldplay to work through trauma of the day. Brandi also works with children who have been placed in foster care or adopted. Brandi was blessed to adopt her beautiful daughter in 2013. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and other members of her family, walking her very energetic yellow lab and watching Pittsburgh Steelers football.
